Wehrmacht Field Converted Horse Ambulance

As various sources indicate, Germans used everything they could, even some very bizarre conversions. Horses were also intensively used due to lack of gas and other supplies. The present vehicle depicts a field conversion of a cart turned into an ambulance and powered by a mountain horse. Two Prieser soldiers are heavily converted for illustrating a wounded soldier that in one hand holds a cigarette and in the other a piece of cloth for cleaning blood while the other soldier, a stretcher, acts as the horse leader.
